Margaret Aylward Community College, an all-girls post primary school, was established in September 1969. Today the college is the under the auspices of the CDETB. The school provides a wide range of subjects at Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate level, including Leaving Certificate Applied. The school seeks to encourage all to achieve their full potential in a supportive atmosphere, which respects diversity. The school welcomes the involvement of parents and community in developing the skills necessary for students to become self-motivating members of society.
